What are Anti-Wrinkle & Fine Line Treatments?

Anti-wrinkle treatments (May also be referred to as Youth Drops) involve injecting small quantities of Botulinum Toxin into specific muscles using a tiny needle; this will smooth lines and wrinkles by stopping the muscle from moving. The muscle will relax and no longer contract to cause crease lines, leaving a natural softening to lines and wrinkles therefore giving a natural, fresh, and rejuvenated appearance.

While the Youth Drops are working, these lines are not able to get any deeper, there is no longer any repeated creasing of the skin. This treatment is used prophylactically to prevent the formation of wrinkles.

Anti-wrinkle treatments do not remove deep, fixed lines, they may reduce them slightly, and they will stop them from getting worse.

Anti-wrinkle treatments are the treatment of choice to smooth lines on the upper face but do not work to smooth lines on the lower face. For lines on the cheeks, between nose to mouth, lines on the top lip, or marionette lines - dermal filler is the best treatment option for those particular areas.

Anti-wrinkle treatments will typically last for 3 – 4 months (however individual factors do apply and some clients get a longer or shorter duration than this), ultrafine needles are used for this treatment and is not painful. However, it can be mildly uncomfortable, and if you would prefer, we can apply a numbing cream to the area 10 minutes before treatment, which will make it entirely pain-free.

It is a quick, easy, and very effective treatment with little or no recovery time.
